My name is Patricio Quezada, but most people call me Pat or Q. I build software I wanted to exist and could not find, I serve as an officer in the Army, and I am raising a family in Silver Spring, Maryland. Welcome to my small slice of the internet.

Building TVLens

TVLens is a recommendation engine for television. I could not find a way to discover shows based on my own taste without ads and without being sold something along the way, so I am building the version I wanted. It is a version 1, which is a promise to myself rather than to a market.

I am building it in public. The80-Day Project is a daily log of what I built and what I learned, and the decision records behind the product live alongside it, on the product's own domain rather than on mine.

Army Officer

I am an active duty officer in the Army and a veteran.

Writing

I write at HEY World, about whatever I am working through. Posts start as notes and get sent when they are ready. The TVLens build log is separate, and it lives at tvlens.org/80dp.

Family

We are a family of six. I get outvoted on almost everything, and the house is better for it.
